A fine Vaseline uranium cut glass dressing table bottle with a double dome facet stopper over a facet chimney neck and flared body on a short raised base. The bottle is delicately hand decorated with polychrome flower sprays and gilt scrollwork highlighted with white. Condition: minor rubbing to the decoration, one or two tiny nicks to the inner rim; light age and use wear; nothing further found; bottle reacts strongly to UV/Blacklight. Circa 1850-60, Bohemian, probably Winterberg. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 9.5cm/3.75in, base diameter 6.5cm/2.75in. Second identical bottle available to make a pair.
