A superb aqua green glass table bottle with a prunt and enamelled ball stopper. A masterfully hand decorated Gothic Revival window scene of the Virgin Mary, or female saint, with two attendants, sits between a delicately enamelled flower head band above and a ring of polychrome cubes and further gilt highlighted flower head band below. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; some rubbing to the gilt; very minor rubbing to the enamel; minor wear; nothing further found. Circa 1870, enamelled Lobmeyr mark to the base. Height 14cm/5.5in, base diameter 4.5cm/1.75in.
