An appealing cranberry glass shaft and globe scent bottle and conforming spire stopper. The bottle features a white overlay band finely hand painted with a profusion of flowers, leaves, and stems, the cranberry body is further embellished in gilt with scrollwork, leaves and patterning. Condition: rubbing to the gilt, minor surface wear, light interior bloom; nothing further found. Circa 1880-1900, Bohemian. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 18cm/7in, body diameter 7cm/2.75in.
