A refined crystal dressing table bottle, with a facet cut stopper over a wide gilded rim and cylinder shape body, The bottle has a a leafy whorl pattern ground, and is decorated in low relief with a gilt bell flower and notch pattern band over a scroll and palmette ring. Condition: some light rubbing to the gilt; minor surface wear; nothing further found; stopper and under-base are scratch marked "48". Circa 1910, French, unmarked but definitely St. Louis. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 14cm/5.5in, diameter 5.5cm/2in. Three other matching items also available.
