An unusual banana shape sterling silver cylinder scent bottle, the cork lined ball screw top with moving ring and safety chain, the body with a suspensory chain. Condition: small dint to the bottle upper side right; light dimple to the top; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found, good screw closure. The silver hallmarked for London 1888, maker's mark "SM" for Sampson Mordan. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 6.5cm/2.5in.
