A tapered and slender sterling silver scent bottle, with a facet crown screw top and dauber. The front is delicately engraved with leafy chrysanthemums, the back with a flower stem and signature. Condition: some light surface wear; a very minor dint to the silver on the reverse; nothing further found; good screw closure. Circa 1920s, Japanese, signed by the engraver Yoshiyuki, the under-base stamped "sterling". Height 5.5cm/2.17in, width 3.5cm/1.38in.
