A pleasing scalloped edge silver scent bottle, with a green bead, probably celluloid, screw top, and green tassel. The bottle is bright cut with foliate scrollwork and flower head patterns, one side is engraved with entwined initials within a square cartouche. Condition: light surface wear; nothing further found; good screw closure. Circa 1930s, top edge hallmarked with a "3" for 900 silver purity, the neck stamped "900" plus additional maker's mark. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Height 5.5cm/2in, width 4.5cm/1.75in.
