A rare high glaze tile in beige, white, and brown, with a line drawn portrait of a crowned king within a double circle cartouche and four corner ornaments. Condition: edge nicks; light surface wear; fine glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1890, back relief marked "Boch Freres La Louviere". Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Tile size 15cm/6in square, frame size 18cm/7.25in square. Framed ready to hang.
