An Art Nouveau low relief tile with stylised rose window arch, dot grid, and cascade loops design in burnt orange and grey on a smoky olive ground. Condition: one or two microscopic edge nicks; light surface wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1900, Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik, Grohn, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15cm/6in square.
