An Art Nouveau relief tile with bold flower head, stem and leaf design in white and olive-green on a caramel ground. Condition: small chip to the reverse, not visible from the front; some surface marking, some wear to high points; glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1905, Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik, Grohn, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15cm/6in square.
