An Art Nouveau polychrome tube line tile with stylised flower heads and coiled stems in white, yellow and blue on smoky olive half shields, the whole on a pale grey-green ground. Condition: edge nick top left, two other minute edge nicks; light surface wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1905, Boizenburger Wandplattenfabrik, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15cm/6in square.
