A rare and atmospheric Art Nouveau polychrome tubeline set of nine tiles, featuring a bull about to drink for a small pond, with trees, countryside and farm house behind. Condition: minor edge nicks, minor surface wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1900, French, almost certainly a butcher's shop display and quite possibly by Desvres. Framed ready for hanging correctly in diamond form. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 49cm/19.5in square including frame.
