A rare Art Nouveau polychrome tubeline set of eight tiles, featuring a squabbling white cockatoo and pale blue macaw against a steel blue ground. Condition: minor edge nicks, minor colour bleeding; minor wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1900, Hemiksem, Belgium. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Panel size 60cm/24in long x 30cm/12in high, mounted ready for hanging.
